On the morning of December 3, 2024, Nguyen Viet Khoi, Vice President of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vu Duong Luan, Director of International Exchange Office, visited Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL). The visitors were extended a warm welcome by Professor Song Yafei, Vice President and Dean of the School of International Education, Professor Zhao Xiaomei, Executive Dean of the School of Arts and other leading teachers, along with the dedicated staff of the International Exchange Office.

Afterwards, a conference was held in Room 101 of the Library. The two sides briefly introduced the situation of running the two schools, and discussed the exchange of students, international academic exchanges and other matters.

The conference 

At the conference, Vice President Nguyen Viet Khoi of VNU SIS introduced Vietnam's professional talent training program and curriculum system.

The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, Vietnam National University, Hanoi , one of the 21 training units under Vietnam's Hanoi National University (VNU-SIS), is a young and dynamic public university in Vietnam offering higher education at undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels. The university has established the School of Creative Industries and Heritage, the School of Art and Design, and the School of Architecture, Urban and Sustainability Sciences.

Then, the two sides held detailed discussions on cooperation projects. Professor Song Yafei expressed that students from the VNU-SIS are welcome to come to GUFL for short-term and long-term exchanges. We also hope to send our students to VNU-SIS. 

At the end of the conference, the two sides held a signing ceremony, exchanged gifts and took photos.
