Recently, the undergraduate students of the majoring in Cambodian language from the School of Southeast Asian Languages and Cultures of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages（GUFL）, class of 2023, participated in the 2024 internationalization Promotion project of the university. They went to the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia(RUPP) for a study tour, delving deeply into the local language, culture, and history, building a solid bridge for cultural exchange between China and Cambodia

During the registration process, the teachers at the RUPP not only introduced the course schedule and cultural experience activities in detail but also emphasized daily life safety and the discipline of school study. They led the students to visit the beautiful campus. The teachers encouraged the students to actively participate in language practice, communicate with local students, and adapt to and integrate into local life as soon as possible.

Students have their first class at the RUPP. Under the guidance of Mr. Kim Soeun, the students began to study and explore the Cambodian language and culture in depth.

In 2024, GUFL will continue to uphold the open and international educational philosophy, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with universities at home and abroad, and strive to cultivate more applied talents with international vision and cross-cultural communication skills.
