In September 2013, President Xi Jinping proposed the "Silk Road Economic Belt" initiative in Kazakhstan, followed by the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" in Indonesia in October—collectively known as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This year marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI. Over the past decade, the BRI has advanced step by step, accumulating achievements that benefit people globally. Riding the momentum of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL) leveraged its strategic position in the Guangxi Autonomous Region as a key hub in BRI connectivity and land-sea coordination over the past decade. The institution cultivated globally-oriented educational strengths and advanced institutional excellence through high-quality development.
