On the morning of July 21, the inauguration ceremony for the ASEAN International Education Centre of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages and the launch event for the Preparatory Committee of the Thailand-China Culture and Education Association were held on the 17th floor of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce building in Thailand. Dr.Zhu Guiling, Founding Chairperson of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages and Founding President of Guangxi Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs, attended the event.

GUFL is China’s first university to set up both an ASEAN International Education Centre and a preparatory committee for a Thailand-China Culture and Education Association on Thai soil. This initiative represents an innovative move by the University to implement the Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2026-2030) and serves as a key practical step toward building the Thailand-China Community with a Shared Future. It marks a new phase in ASEAN-oriented international education endeavour of GUFL.
