On the afternoon of November 15, the of International Education School held the 3rd Chinese Classics Reading Competition for International Students in the school hall. Yang Fang, Vice Dean of International Education School and Meng Xiaofeng, Deputy Head of the Department attended the competition. Teachers Wu Hongbo, Yang Xinyi and Liu Siman served as judges of the competition. All teachers and students of the International Education School participated in this competition.

The competition is divided into single and group competitions, with a total of 19 programs. International students from different countries and different classes gathered together to show their skills and read Chinese classics. Ruan Bingxin from Class 1901, as the first contestant to recite three "Qingping Tune", beautiful tunes and distinctive costumes, officially kicked off the prelude to this Chinese classic reading contest.

The chanting contest site was also interspersed with 3 Chinese cultural knowledge quiz sessions and presented generous prizes to the correct audience.

In the Chinese Classics Reading Contest, in the individual competition, Ye Anya from Class 1902 won the first prize of "My Motherland, My Dear Motherland" with 94.67 points. Chen Jianhong from Class 1902 won the second prize of Class 1. Tie Kegui from 1701 won the third prize. In the group stage, Maejo Class 1701 won the first prize with 92.67 points. Class 1902 "Mo Shang Sang" and Maejo Class 1801 "A Blossoming Tree" won second and third prizes, respectively.

Participating international students have said that through this activity, they have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and feel very happy. The success of the 3rd Chinese Classics Reading Competition for International Students has greatly improved the ability of international students to read Chinese poems and laid a foundation for them to continue learning Chinese in China.
